The Elite Standard
Training is strictly delivered by a highly qualified professional holding the premium SQA Level 7 Award in Driver Coaching and Behavioral Change for Safe Driving. This elite framework focuses on advanced self-evaluation, cognitive risk mitigation, and behavioural adjustment for lifelong safety.

1. Driving Licenses, Eligibility & Behaviour
1. Driving Licenses, Eligibility & Behaviour
Provision of License: The client must hold a valid UK provisional (or full) driving license. A valid photocard license and a DVSA check code must be presented prior to or on the first training session.
Fitness to Drive: It is your absolute responsibility to ensure you are physically and mentally fit to drive. Sessions will be terminated immediately if the instructor suspects the client is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that compromises cognitive or physical driving capacity. The full session fee will apply.
GDE Matrix Behavioral Standards: In line with advanced behavioral coaching models, clients are expected to arrive mentally alert, free from excessive fatigue, and prepared to engage in active self-evaluation. If extreme stress, illness, or fatigue severely compromises public safety, the instructor reserves the right to pause or terminate the session at the client’s expense.
Eyesight Check: You must be able to read a standard UK license plate from a distance of 20.5 meters (utilizing corrective lenses if required by law).
Footwear & Attire: For safety and proper pedal control, clients must wear appropriate, flat-soled footwear (no flip-flops, high heels, or heavy work boots). Failure to wear suitable attire may result in session cancellation at the client’s expense.

Notice Requirement: If you need to cancel, shorten, or reschedule a booked session, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice must be given directly to your instructor.
Late Cancellations: If notice is provided under the 48-hour window for any reason whatsoever, the full fee for the scheduled block or lesson duration will be charged.
Instructor Cancellations: If Roam Driver Coaching must cancel a session due to vehicle breakdown, illness, or extreme weather, an alternative slot will be offered at no penalty, and no cancellation fee will apply to the client.

Advance Payment: All individual sessions or block bookings must be paid for in full prior to the commencement of the scheduled training.
Punctuality: If you arrive late, the session will still terminate at the originally scheduled time, and lost time cannot be extended. The instructor will wait at the designated pickup point for a maximum of 15 minutes before treating the session as a late cancellation.
Block Booking Expiry: To manage business costs and economic adjustments, all prepaid blocks, vouchers, or course deposits are valid for exactly 6 months from the date of purchase. Any unused hours remaining after 6 months will automatically expire and are completely non-refundable.

Test-Ready Clause: Roam Driver Coaching reserves the absolute right to withhold the use of the training vehicle for a practical driving test if the instructor deems your driving standard unsafe or unready for public roads.
Mandatory Evaluation: To protect your test fee, a formal evaluation will be conducted at least 14 working days prior to your scheduled test. If you do not meet safe standards, you will be given notice to reschedule your test so you do not forfeit your DVSA fee.
DVSA Cancellations: Roam Driver Coaching accepts no financial or scheduling responsibility for practical tests cancelled, delayed, or rescheduled by the DVSA.

Data Protection: Roam Driver Coaching is fully registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). All personal data, contact details, and progress records are securely stored and processed in strict compliance with UK GDPR regulations. Your data will never be shared with third parties without your explicit written consent.
Dashcam Recording: For public safety, insurance purposes, and to aid in reflective, behavioral driver coaching, the training vehicle is equipped with an internal and external digital dashcam that records video and audio.
Footage Security: Dashcam footage is treated as private, highly confidential personal data under GDPR. It is securely stored, automatically overwritten periodically, and will only be reviewed for training evaluations, incident investigations, or insurance claims.

Professional Insurances: For your absolute peace of mind, Roam Driver Coaching maintains comprehensive Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance, alongside specialist driving instructor motor insurance, ensuring full legal and public protection during all training sessions.
Delays & Failures: While vehicles are maintained to exceptional standards, Roam Driver Coaching is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors entirely outside our control (e.g., immediate mechanical failure, punctures, severe traffic, or acts of nature).
Secondary Losses: In the event of an emergency cancellation by the instructor, a replacement session will be arranged, but no liability is accepted for secondary financial losses, such as missed workplace hours or childcare costs.
Vehicle Environment: Roam Driver Coaching operates a strict smoke-free and vape-free environment inside all training vehicles at all times.
